Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between Karobix ("we") and you, the person or business that creates an account on Karobix. By creating an account, including with Google or Facebook, you accept them and our privacy policy. Effective date: 10-20-2026.
The service
Karobix is a subscription point-of-sale service for retail shops and restaurants. We may improve or change features over time. We will not remove a core feature of your paid plan during a period you have already paid for.
Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, keeping that account secure is part of keeping your Karobix account secure.
One account can own or work in several businesses.
A business owner is responsible for the staff they invite, the roles, branches and permissions they give them, and everything done in their business.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept these terms on behalf of the business.
Trial, plans, limits and payment
New businesses start with a free trial of the length shown when you register. There is no free-forever plan.
Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, as shown on our pricing page. Prices are in Pakistani rupees [and include/exclude applicable taxes].
Payment is currently by bank transfer. Your plan starts or renews once we verify the transfer. Plans do not renew automatically.
Each plan has limits, such as branches, staff, products, registers and monthly sales. They cannot be exceeded; upgrade for more.
When a trial or paid period ends without payment, the business becomes read-only straight away. You can still sign in, view records, run and export reports, close open shifts and pay for a plan, but cannot record new sales or make other changes until a plan is active.
Your data
You own the business data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to collect any personal data about your customers and staff that you enter. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
Reports can be exported, and you should keep your own copies of important records. Deleting your account permanently erases every business you own and its records; this cannot be undone.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service for anything illegal, try to access other businesses' data, disrupt or overload the service, or copy or reverse engineer it. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your records and taxes
Karobix calculates totals and tax from the rates you set. You are responsible for choosing correct tax rates and for your tax filings, invoices and legal records.
Third-party services
Signing in with Google or Facebook, and other services we link to, are also governed by those companies' own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their services.
Availability
The service needs a working internet connection. We work to keep it available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 2 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time, and delete your account from Settings → Profile. We may suspend or end the service for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, with notice where reasonable. Unused accounts may be deleted as described in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date, and tell account owners about significant changes by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
